The policy: zero collects nothing.
Most privacy policies are long because there is a lot to confess. This one is short because there is nothing. Here is the nothing, itemized:
- No serversThe app has no backend. There is nowhere for your data to be sent, so it is not sent.
- No accountsNo sign-up, no email, no identifier. We do not know you exist.
- No trackersNo analytics, no crash reporters, no advertising SDKs, no third-party code that phones home.
- Your dataTransactions, categories, and debts live in a SQLite database on your device. They never leave it unless you export them yourself.
- Your exportsExport files are created by you, owned by you, stored where you choose. They are outside the app the moment they exist.
- DeletionUninstalling the app deletes the database. We cannot recover it, because no copy ever existed on any server. Data you exported or backed up yourself remains wherever you put it, under your control.
What this policy cannot cover.
- Google PlayRecords your install and purchase history under Google's own policy.
- Device backupsYour phone's backup system may include app data. That is controlled by your device settings, not by zero.
This policy covers the zero application, operated by Lossless Protocols, a sole proprietorship registered in India. Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. There is no longer version of this document. This is the whole policy.
